De Novo Bookkeeper Terms of Use

End User License Agreement. Effective July 8, 2026. De Novo Digital, Corp.

1. The application

The De Novo Bookkeeper is proprietary software owned by De Novo Digital, Corp., built for De Novo's internal use in connection with its QuickBooks Online company. These terms govern its use.

2. License and permitted use

The application is licensed for use solely by De Novo and its authorized personnel, and solely to operate De Novo's own accounting. It may not be distributed, resold, sublicensed, or used to access or process the data of any third party.

3. Relationship to Intuit

Use of QuickBooks Online is subject to Intuit's own terms of service. This application is developed by De Novo and is not created, endorsed, or supported by Intuit. QuickBooks and Intuit are trademarks of Intuit Inc.

4. Acceptable use

Authorized personnel may use the application only within the scope De Novo has authorized in QuickBooks. No one may attempt to use it to reach data outside that authorization or to circumvent its access controls.

5. No professional advice; human review

The application automates bookkeeping tasks but does not provide accounting, tax, or legal advice. Its output is reviewed by De Novo and its accountants before it is relied upon, and it is not a substitute for professional judgment.

6. Warranty disclaimer and limitation of liability

The application is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, De Novo disclaims liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from its use.

7. Term and termination

De Novo may disconnect or discontinue the application at any time. On termination, the application's access to QuickBooks is revoked and its stored credentials are deleted.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, with venue in San Diego County.
